wideband issue

My Powerlogger wideband reading is not jiving with my AEM digital gauge. At idle the gauge is at 14.00 and the PL reads 19.00. Even at wot its like five points off. And I grounded the gauge to the engine block.

Exactly which AEM do you have (model#)? and what setting are you using in the powerlogger for the wideband type?

AEM 2001 x series and on PL AEM 05

The 30-2001 is the sensor itself. Do you know the model# of the controller?

I sent you an e-mail of the invoice for the wideband gauge and sensor. I didn't get a controller

I got it. I didn't realize you bought it from me. That is an X-Series AEM, so you need to set the powerlogger wideband type to "AEM Inline".

Start there and if you still have trouble, then we'll go over the wiring.

I set the wideband to AEM inline and PL still does not read the same as the gauge. At idle the gauge reads 14.00 and the PL and scanmaster
reads 18.00

Ok. Lets go over all the wiring. Where does each wire go from the wideband controller?

Found it! I didn't ground the brown wire. Thanks for all your help
