Scanmaster3 Turning Off When in Config Mode

I'm trying to set the o2 sensor reading to my new 3 bar in config mode but when trying to save the setting the unit turns off. I need to disconnect the battery in order to get it to turn back on. Defective?

Updated..... I called eric and he had me mail it back. Fixed the problem and all is better now. It was a problem with the scanmaster.
