Powerlogger won't connect after Windows 11 firmware upgrade

Powerlogger wouldn't connect today. I don't think it was caused by a Windows 11 update but instead a firmware upgrade that they pushed to my machine either yesterday or today.

I say that because this is the last Windows update installed on 4/14 and I have a log from later that night (so I was still able to connect):

Not knowing what the firmware update consisted of, I went through the steps again of disabling driver signature enforcement - which is required on Windows 11 when doing a PL install / upgrade. PL still wouldn't connect.

I then did a system restore back to prior to the firmware update. Powerlogger connects now.

So just a heads up to those running it on Windows 11.

is the PL black or green, the newer ones (green) use signed drivers so the unsigned driver process is not needed.

the update process can be done in the field, but requires an older computer (I have to drag out my Vista machine to do them)

It's pretty old, Bob but I will check. I had to follow the disable driver signature process in November when I installed PL on the new laptop running 11 so that may answer your question.

I should mention that PL was working fine prior to the firmware upgrade that Microsoft pushed to my machine the other day.

Thanks,

Dan

The firmware upgrade popped up again a couple of days ago so I just let it install knowing it would probably do the same thing. It did. I did another system restore and PL is connecting fine.

Attaching a screenshot of the firmware version.
