Powerlogger makes scanmaster G lose its mind

Trying to install an old ( black) powerlogger. Got the 2.6.849 version installed in laptop. it wont do the reflash, and when SM is hooked to port 7 it just cycles random O2 and knock numbers with key on/engine off. When I hook SM back to adl orange wire it works fine. What is the problem???

The old powerloggers with the black board need to be modified in order to work with the Scanmaster G. There was a capacitor that needs to be snapped off the board, but I don't have that info right now. I will dig it up.

Eric, I found out its the top right capasitor in that line of 6 from Bob B. Removed it and no change. Also tried to monitor with pl and it doesn't communicate with laptop

The PL board needs to be reflashed. I can try to do it here if you send it to me. However, that one is pretty old, so I don't know if that's the only issue.
