ECU-GN lost fuel pump signal

I went to do my weekly startup of my GN this evening, but it wouldn't start. The fuel pump light does not come on. I traced down the fuel pump circuit. The pumps work and the engine will run when I power up the fuel pump test wire near the alternator. The ECU is not sending out the power signal out to the relay. I also checked the fuses on the circuit board. They were good. I assume the problem is something else on the circuit board. Eric, any ideas?

Can you make the pump light come on using the test mode? If not, then you'll need to send the ECU to me.

With the laptop connected, go to the testmodes menu, then Output test mode I/O. Press "enabled test mode", then press the On button for the fuel pump. It should come on.

I just tried it. No dice. ECU headed your way tomorrow. Several other items powered up no problem (fans, second pump etc.)

Thanks,

Jeremy

It's on its way back to you. There was an internal issue with the fuel pump output.

Eric, I have the same issue that is listed here. Tried the test and got the same result…no dice. Any ideas or do I need to send the ECU back to you?

I’ll get it in the mail to you tomorrow. Just to make sure I have the right information will you please give me the address to send it to you? This is Michael Stulberg by the way.

Hi Michael, this is on its way back to you. I could not find any problems with it. The fuel pump output operated normally.
