AEM Sensor Life

What is a good wb? AEM wb sensor is junk again almost a year and not that many miles. It seems to be the norm for these. Have sd2 now but may be upgrading soon, suggestions???

AEM doesn't make wideband sensors. They use a Bosch sensor like most other brand wideband controllers. Wideband sensors typically go bad from thermal shock or contamination.
Thermal shock comes from water hitting the sensor during a cold start, and the sensor was hot before starting.
Contamination can be from a rich mixture, too rich on startup, or many cold starts.
You might also consider using the Innovate HBX-1 Heat Sink Bung Extender, which can sometimes solve sensor life issues on some cars.

So potentially lean out cold start idle an or pull back crank fuel? There is always a ton of moisture but it is E85. I think a new sensor a year is a bit excessive.

Cold start might help, if you can go leaner and it still runs ok. I wouldn't change cranking fuel.

Where is your sensor located?

Looking from front about 12" back from turbo? (Just a guess it's been awhile) Near Ac box in Aprox 1-2 o'clock position.

That should be good. If all else fails, I would try the HBX-1 extender.

I have a PLX devices wideband and it works quite well.

my sensor is actually quite far, down near the junction of the engine and tranny.
