6.1 chip install question

hi I just installed my 6.1 chip set for an aem wideband and hooked it up with the instructions and it wont run it starts then stalls after a minute my question is do I need to have my laptop and powerlogger running all the time for this chip I haven't plugged the laptop in yet but I thought I could run the car with chip with out the plc hooked up too thanks

No you don't need the laptop connected.
Make sure the SES light is doing the single blink on key-on.
if that checks out, check fuel pressure. What MAF setup?

Ok, you emailed me that you have an LS1 MAF. We need to make sure your translator settings are correct. Can you give me your chip number so I can look up your order?
