The older Scanmaster gauge may need to have the firmware updated to work properly with the ecuGN.
It must be done through bluetooth. If you don't have a bluetooth connection, you can also send the Scanmaster G to me, and I'll reflash it.
There are 2 files. One is the reflash program, and the other is the file that gets flashed to the Scanmaster. I zipped them up together for this download.
You will need to know what COM port is being used in the bluetooth connection, since you will need to select the COM port in the reflash program. You can most likely find that in your bluetooth properties.
To perform the reflash:
-download the zip file and extract to your desktop
-run the software (reflasher)
-select the COM port
-select the S19 file included
-power up the Scanmaster while holding the right button on the Scanmaster
-press the Connect button in the software
-once it connects, press the Program button
Let me know if you have any questions.
This can be complicated for some, so feel free to send me your Scanmaster and I can do it.
