I had: Scanmaster and a powerlogger (not connected) both worked great.

I got: AEM wideband, new 6.0 TT chip, and put the 2.2 upgrade chip in Scanmaster. I connected the scanmaster to the block in the SCM position. then connected wideband to l1 spot. wideband is showing on the PL...

but

when I turn the key on the scanmaster will show 2.2 then blink out come back on and say PL 0.1 or 1.0 cant remember then it goes blank and stays that way.

Im lost ! have no idea what to do..

How old is your powerlogger? If its an older one, you might need to reflash it with the newest software.

when you say reflash is this just upgrading the software on the computer or do you have to do something while connected to pl? I just got a new laptop and installed the software from a link TurboDave sent me said it was the latest version.

If it's an older Powerlogger, the board itself needs to be reflashed.

Connect powerlogger to your laptop.
Turn key on.
Run PLC.exe (don't go into monitor mode).
Press the "reflash" button on the Help tab.
Select the file PL030 and hit ok (or open).
It should ask you to hit a key to continue or something like that.
That should be it. See if the Scanmaster cworks after that.

yes its about 5-6 years old.... I did try this and I get a message saying comport 3 error. and then I have to shut the computer down and restart it to get it to do anything after that. its windows 7 (Im a MAC guy, bought this hunk of junk just to run the PL)

I'm assuming you already have PL working (drivers loaded and able to connect). If not, then you'll have to load the drivers first and get PL operating, then do the reflash.

yes I can connect and I can see the wideband working on the PL screen.... the main problem is when I put the 2.2 chip in SCanmaster and moved white wire over the pl block it quit working..... I'm wanting to set wideband corrections.

Could be real. I would start a new thread and upload a log file to look at.
