Running Rich

I seem to have everything sorted out highway and 40 and up cruze but I'm having a problem from 900 to 1600. the car is running rich. Too rich! Is there any way that I can pull some fuel out in this range? Right now I have my 0-1900 set at 160. If I seem to go any higher than that it starts to effect my cruze fuel too much. Does the X Factor on the chip control overall fuel? If so do I go higher or lower to puull fuel out? I can always add fuel everywhere I need it.

That can be difficult to clean up completely, but you can try playing with the off-idle fuel adjustment (param 8). Try reducing it to see if it leans out.

Thanks Eric. I'll give it a try. Am I right about the x factor adjustment?

On the x-factor, that is only full throttle fuel. It is meant to add fuel near the end of a run if necessary.

I thought there was an adjustment on the wheel that would remove fuel out of everything all at once. I think I remember doing this a long time ago with an older chip from Steve.

Yes, there used to be, but that doesn't exist anymore in the latest programs.
