How to hookup scanmaster 2.1 to powerlogger

I bought an unfinished build ..car never been started....the car has a pl that I just got up and running..I've been to f3 menu sm menu..I've installed sm to data wire to aldl data wire..no data...sm master says scannaster 2.2 powerlogger blah blah...then goes blank...I seem to b missing the white cable and anolog module for the pl...I have a piggyback back harness to the translator gen2 wondering if I could splice into that?

If you have a scanmaster 2.2, then it has to be connected to the input module for the powerlogger (not the aldl port).
The powerlogger comes with the input module, so I would double check that the previous owner may have mounted it somewhere under the dash or behind the glovebox. Otherwise you'll have to get another input module and cable.
