Should param 13 change based on ethanaol content when the flex fuel option 4 is selected? I swear my chip was working like that but now param 13 is 128 and power logger says i have 75% eth.

Yes, param 13 should change with ethanol content if you have the flexfuel option turned on. Make sure the ETH_C table starts at 0 and goes to 176 at 100% eth. Maybe it got corrupted.

the ETH_C table starts at 128 and goes to 176. param 13 stays 128. If I put my own value in to match the eth content it will default back to 128 after a key cycle. I tried putting a value different than 128 in at the 0 and it wont change to the value either. I def have option 4 input too. I only noticed because i started the car and it was very lean and then the correction ramped up to 25 once in CL

Under the help tab, while connected, press the about button and see what the software versions are for PLC and powerlogger interface.
I might have you reflash it anyway, just to reset it.

Interface should be showing 5.2. I would reflash and see what happens. You might lose your tune, so take note of your setup.

reflashed shows interface 5.2 but no change. if i enter 0 in options and then my own value in param 13 it will keep it through a key cycle. i also noticed after a cycle the intervace showing 0.1 again but i went offline and back on and it was back to 5.2

The only other thing I can think of is a bad connection between the powerlogger and ECM, or a bad powerlogger.
