Couple of questions about logging and knock retard

Is there a way to see in the log when the 2-step in engaged?
My 2nd fuel pump is being triggered by inj J output, can I see this on the log?

Is it normal to see knock in numbers on the log but no knock retard? I'm using the stock esc module, how do I check to see if it's actually working?

There a couple different ways to see if those outputs are engaging.
One is to load the log and scroll through it while watching some indicators on the dash. Sometimes I find that's the easiest.
See this pic below.
Load a log from the graphing and logging tab, then go to gauge cluster tab, then at the bottom go to the MALF-Extra tab. You can grab the end of the scroll bar at the bottom and move through the log to see what's activating. For the 2-step, you'll see launch, and then spark cut, like in the pic.

For inj-J (your 2nd fuel pump), you can go to the inputs/outputs tab at the bottom and do the same thing.

There is a way to see those things in the log directly by monitoring the ports and status flags, but it's a bit more work as there is some math involved.

For knock, mainly pay attention to knock retard. 'Knock in' is showing every single little noise that happened. That doesn't always mean there will be spark retard.
