AEM Wideband Gauge 30-0300 wont fit triple a-pillar

Never mounted the gauge that came with my old LC-1 for many years with out WB gauge, just logged in PL. The AEM Gauge is pretty nice, got the white face to match and I thought it would be nice to keep an eye on things. Pulled out all the dual gauge stuff, remounting with WB up in the top spot...Doesn't fit the G-body parts 3 gauge holder. Not to mention that the 2 fat cables that feed it are tough to stuff into the a-pillar also. Makes connection and wiring a breeze but 2 fat cables to the gauge. It's really too large on the outside where the bezel trim ring screws on, there isn't much room around where the hole is located in the pod, so it interferes with the ring. Anyone overcome this? I don't what to just start hacking things us. Heat and bend the holder? Trim the bezel? May have to go back to 2 gauge with boost and knock, no WB?....sadly.
Thanks for reading.

I put mine in the bottom gauge pod so that way I didn't have to worry about trying to get the thick cables ran all the way up to the top gauge pod. I put my boost gauge in the middle pod and my oil pressure in the top pod. But mine was the same on the top pod as far as the gauge bezel hitting but on the bottom pod the gauge bezel doesn't hit.But I did have to open up the hole a little. It seemed way to right of a fit. So I opened it up using a Die grinder with a burr sleeve on it. You can use a Dremel to open up the gauge hole some if you don't have a Die grinder. You just verily have to touch it to get the hole the correct size. Hope this helps you out.

Funny. Just finished this last night. Put WB in the lowest spot and it fit pretty well. Got dremel out but didn't end up needing it, worked the gage in while tight. Had to rewire boost and move to top spot. Gonna be tough to get used to, been in bottom for so many years but great to have WB visible. Gives me a chance to curse working under dash and laugh at my old wiring hacksThank you for your response!
