AEM 30-4110

Eric, I have the 6.1 chip installed in my 87 GN. I was running the AEM 30-4110 wideband with it. my sensor looks to have failed. I can easily replace the sensor or was thinking of going with the X series. I notice the scaling on the 4110 5 volt out is 10 to 20:1 AFR, I was looking to replace the system with an X series because they claim a faster response time , but the 5 volt output is scaled from 8.5 to 18.0:1. Questions, would the electronics in our car see the increased speed and would the chip need re-programmed to sync with the different scale.
Thanks,
Anthony

The faster response won't really benefit the closed loop correction. We would have to reprogram the chip for the different scaling.

Thanks Eric, will just replace the sensor. Also, just as a side question, , does the low end of 10:1 AFR cause concern where as the X model starts at 8 (8.5 analog out)? that probably would have been my biggest concern. If I would have known that before I purchased, I would have definitely went with the X series.
